“I have been training with Scott since almost the beginning of TYPT. I will admit that I’m a bit of a character who loves her wine and won’t really give it up for anything.. But through training with Scott I can honestly say I have cut back. When I started my journey with TYPT I was a size 18 verging on a 20 (😩 maybe even a 22 if I’m honest !!) but now I’m a size 14 working on a 12!!

I have an old back injury that was never properly diagnosed from 20+ years ago so due to back pain boot camp became quite difficult. Scott introduced the ladies boxing classes and it was my life saver that has got me through… The ladies are amazing and we are all united through a common interest that is strung together with early morning giggles…

Since I started I have become stronger, fitter and healthier than I have ever been. My friends notice a newfound confidence. I feel great about myself. This is the longest I have stuck at an exercise program and that is because I always want go. It’s fun, challenging and always different. “5.30am he said. You can’t be serious I said. Well he was serious. At first it was a struggle to get out of bed twice a week for a 5.30am boxing class. But I did it. 6 week block and nailed it. It wasn’t long before I added in the 5.30am bootcamp classes. Was my body going to hold up? It was hard work I can assure you. A year later I am now in my second block of attending 5 classes a week. I have lost 25kg in weight and five dress sizes. The cm’s are falling off. I can not recommend TYPT enough. The classes are hard work but if you have a kick ass attitude and can back yourself you can do exactly what this old gal has acheived. I encourage you to give it a go. Look at me! I am still alive and loving life!!”

“I’ve had gym memberships, personal trainers and completed fitness challenges. But I never went back to them. One thing I’ve learnt along the way is I love group sessions. After some time off any exercise and gaining a few kgs I decided I needed to find something I loved so much I wouldn’t find excuses to not go or give up. “I’ve been doing TYPT’s mid-morning bootcamp since April. How Scott runs his classes is exactly how I love to exercise. Each class in every block is different and caters for all ages and fitness levels and the fitness testing at the end of the block is a great way to see your improvement. “I had been going to the gym on and off for 8 years and had got bored of the same old workouts. I turned to boot camp to try and boot some life into my workouts. So I found out about scott @ TYPT meet him & signed on the dotted line…I’m in my 2nd block of bootcamps & I LOVE it, love that it’s something different everytime, he’s there for support & to push you to be what he can see that you can’t a better you! The one on one instruction has helped me improve my form, exercise properly and progress in the bootcamp classes faster than those not doing PT. I also get personal attention to my diet and my goals and (not that I admit it loudly) its actually fun and addictive. I do not believe I would have progressed so fast, nor got close to my 30kg weight loss goal in such a controlled way without PT. Thanks Scott, again a lifesaver and a mean trainer.”

I had spent years neglecting myself and focussing on my family, so when I decided it was now time for ‘me’ I wanted to get the most I could out of the experience. Scott was excellent. He is an easy going kinda guy, but you certainly know when it is time to knuckle down and get on with the work. I wanted someone who had a sense of humour, someone who would hold me accountable, someone who would keep me interested in what I was doing. All the boxes were ticked. PT sessions were something to look forward to, and I am not going to lie, a bit of trepidation was there was well because I knew I was going to work hard. But I also knew how awesome I would feel afterwards, such a great feeling of achievement. I have noticed now a real feeling of strength within myself. Physical strength. I have muscles! People notice the outside of me getting smaller, but I notice the inside of me getting stronger and fitter. It is so encouraging to see that in myself, but I wouldn’t be keeping at it if I didn’t have the right trainer.”
